Tenant application process

Thanks for getting in touch about our rental properties. We're excited to help you find the perfect place to call home. To make the application process as smooth as possible, we've put together some helpful information for you.

When you're ready to apply, simply fill out one application form per person over 18. Please note that we don't offer photocopying services, so be sure to bring any necessary documents with you.

To ensure your application is complete, please provide evidence of your income, such as a pay slip, accountant letter, Centrelink documents, or scholarship documents. We also ask that you attach photocopies of documents to meet our 100-point identification guide.

To get started with your application process, we kindly ask that you provide us with some basic identification documents. To meet the 100-point identification requirement, please see below for the list of acceptable documents and their relevant point values. Don't worry, it's a quick and easy step towards securing your dream rental. Simply attach photocopies of your documents and we'll take care of the rest.

What rent payment methods do you offer?

Direct Transfer (EFT) or Branch Deposit are accepted as rent payment methods. Cash is not an option.

What happens if my application is not accepted?

If your application is not accepted by the Lessor, it will be retained for 48 hours and then destroyed securely, to comply with Privacy Legislation.

If approved, what services do I need to arrange?

If your application is approved, we'll work closely together to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. You can either complete our Agency Utility Connection Form available from Reception or arrange personally the following services as applicable: power connection, gas connection (if applicable), phone connection, contents insurance (arrange personally), and change address (for existing accounts and services). We're always here to help and answer any questions you may have throughout the process.

How do you verify tenant information?

To verify your application information we contact National Tenancy Databases (TICA & NTD). If you have had a problem with a previous tenancy, please discuss the circumstances with us.

What’s your agency process?

We treat your application as high priority.  We endeavour to have an answer to you within 24-48 hours but will advise you if it will be longer due to delays in reaching your contacts.
